Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Short version: noBS does not collect, transmit, or share your data. Everything stays on your device, including anything you record with Workout Mirror. We have no servers and no accounts.

What data the app stores

noBS stores the following information locally on your device only, using your device's standard local storage. Nothing is sent to us or any third party.

DataWhere it livesWhy
Workout history Device only Powers the calendar and lifetime stats
App preferences Device only Saves your exercise selections, sets, intensity, and sound settings
Notification schedule Device only Used by your device's notification system to deliver reminders you've enabled
Workout Mirror clips Device only Saved to your device's own photo library if you turn Record on — see below

What we don't do

We do not collect analytics. We do not use advertising SDKs. We do not share data with third parties. There are no user accounts. We have no server that receives any data from your device. The app does not ask for your name or any identifying information.

Notifications

If you enable workout reminders, your chosen schedule is stored on your device and used by your device's notification system to deliver alerts. This happens entirely on your device. We receive no information about your notifications.

Camera & Workout Mirror

Workout Mirror is an optional feature, off by default. If you turn it on, the app uses your device's camera to show a live preview of yourself during a workout so you can check your form. This preview is never recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere unless you separately turn on Record.

If you turn Record on, each exercise is saved as its own video clip directly to your device's own photo library — the same place your camera app saves photos and videos. These clips never pass through us or any server; we have no way to see them, and no copy is kept anywhere inside the app itself. You can optionally add a noBS watermark to saved clips, which is applied entirely on your device.

Camera and photo library access are standard permissions you explicitly grant through your device's system settings, and you can revoke either at any time. Doing so simply turns Workout Mirror off — nothing else in the app is affected.

Deleting your data

All data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes it entirely. You can also reset workout history from within the app via the calendar screen.

Workout Mirror clips are the one exception — since they're saved to your device's own photo library rather than inside the app, uninstalling noBS won't remove them. Delete them the same way you'd delete any other photo or video, from your device's Photos app.

Children

noBS is a general-purpose fitness timer and collects no personal information. It is suitable for general audiences. This includes Workout Mirror — camera and any recorded clips stay on-device only, exactly like every other feature in the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Given that we don't collect data, significant changes are unlikely.
